As the Director of Student Affairs, Jodi is the point person for leaves of absence and students seeking assistance for health-related problems serving as the principle liaison with the Student Health Center including Counseling and Wellness Services. Jodi also heads the Student Affairs Events team, which plans events such as Parent’s Day, Saturday at the Square and the Tisch Salute. Jodi also works closely with Tisch clubs and organizations including the Tisch Undergraduate Student Council and Graduate Student Organizations. Glen Barnard, licensed social worker, has been honored to provide counseling
services to the NYU community for over 6 years. Prior to joining NYU, Glen has worked with professional artists in various capacities for more than 10 years. Glen can meet with Tisch
students by appointment only at the Tisch Building, 721 Broadway, room 1218. When not meeting students, Glen enjoys attending the many the plays, shows, art openings and performances produced by the diverse Tisch community. Melissa Brodsky-Levine phone: 212 998 1587 726 Broadway, 2nd floor
As Director of Career Development, Melissa works to insure that students have all the pieces available to them as they prepare for successful careers in the arts. Melissa counsels and assists students in evaluating their interests and skills and how this relates to their future goals. Her Career Development team works to create a wide variety of resources and programs to assist students in preparing for their careers in the arts; including creating professional marketing materials, preparing for interviews and networking opportunities, as well as industry specific events designed to assist students in developing relationships and to expose them to professionals in their field of choice. John Brown, Assistant Director, Graduate Admissions for Tisch School ofthe Arts, counsels graduate students and departments on matters concerning financial aid, housing and admissions. "Dean Bob" is advocate-in-chief for students at Tisch, working closely with the dedicated staff of the Office of Student Affairs to help students get the most out of their Tisch experience. He is also responsible for upholding the social and academic standards of the School. When not deaning, he is either thinking about exercising or planning to finish reading In Search of Lost Time. Jean is thrilled to join the Tisch Student Affairs office as the Assistant Director for Academic Services. Coming from the College of Arts of Science as an academic adviser, Jean is well experienced to handle any academic concerns you may have and will be one of the most delightful people you will meet at the university. A soccer mom on weekends, Jean also enjoys commuting to work on her bike and riding around the Manhattan waterfront greenway with her family.J. Mercer coordinates with the various facets of Student Affairs to make sure things run as smoothly as possible. He oversees budgets, web and social media, a small army of student workers, and the general day-to-day operations of the office. He has worked at NYU for many years, barring a brief period when he was a staff writer for Nintendo. He is a lover of all things geeky, and can usually be found writing or drawing (and occasionally playing fairly mean harmonica). Patricia Decker is the Director of Recruitment at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She started her career at Tisch in the Department of Undergraduate Drama, first as the Internship Coordinator, then as the Coordinator of the Summer High School Drama Program. After that she served as Manager of Admissions and Applicant Services for ten years. Patricia serves on the board of directors of the Rabbit Hole Ensemble and the Art Schools Network. She is also a writer, performer and producer who has worked in both Philadelphia and New York. Philadelphia: Wilma Theatre, The Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, Big Mess Theatre, Pennsylvania Ballet. New York: Manhattan Theatre Club, Theatre Communications Group, Teleotheater, SPF. She has performed her own work at Dixon Place, CB's Gallery and Cornelia Street Café. Patricia is also an accomplished Tarot card reader. Peter Gerena is the Administrative Aide for Graduate Admissions. He answers any questions prospective grad students may have about the graduate programs offered at Tisch and helps with application materials. As Director of Academic Services, Anita works closely with all of the departments at Tisch ensuring the successful completion of degree requirements. She is available for questions related to AP credit, general education courses, registering off-campus, and any other academic issues. Her team oversees the registration process, academic records, Tisch academic publications, major and minor declaration and transfer credit evaluations. Wes Hopper is the Administrative Aide for Student Affairs. He is involved in all aspects of event planning and operation, as well as assisting with student clubs and the mentor program. As the Assistant Director of Career Development, Lily connects Tisch artists to the tools they need to effectively pursue their professional goals. Through individual career counseling appointments and group workshops, she advises students on job search strategies, resumes and cover letters, interviewing and networking skills, internships, and mentors. Lily previously spent over a decade in commercial and nonprofit theatre, where she worked with emerging theatre artists as a line producer and programming director. She holds an MFA in Dramaturgy from Columbia University and regularly acts as a consultant for new musicals. As the Assistant Director of Student Affairs, Caroline is
primarily responsible for planning major Tisch events such as
Orientation, Parent's Day, and Tisch Salute, as well as other outreach
and recruitment events. Caroline also provides guidance
and encouragement as an adviser to Tisch's undergraduate student clubs
and organizations. Prior to joining Tisch, Caroline spent the majority
of her career at private event
planning and design firms. Her lifelong interest in art and design has
consistently directed her work and her hobbies - in her spare time,

Dan oversees the Graduate Admissions operation for the School and Financial Aid for new Graduate Students. He is also Tisch International Student Advisor (grad and undergrad). Dan lived many years in Mexico. His hobbies include collecting vinyl records of rock bands from the 60's and 70's; Mexican day of the dead skeleton figurines; and books about the 60's.Linda Sheehan phone: 212 998 1954 721 Broadway, #1217

Linda Sheehan, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has been providing counseling services for many years and has an affinity for working with artists. When not meeting with students, she enjoys attending screenings, playing scrabble, and exploring the city for good live music.

Jessica is delighted to join Tisch's Academic Services team! She previously worked with Tisch's Film and TV department while an undergraduate student in CAS and is excited to be back working with Tisch once again! She will be assisting the Academic Services team with AP and credit transfers, plan changes and other various academic and records issues. Yonni works closely with Dean Cameron as his Assistant, and also
supports the Director of Student Affairs with the leave of absence
process. A graduate student at NYU Gallatin, her research interests
include 20th century US history, radical protest movements, and artistic
activism. Yonni is a devoted, albeit awkward, tap dancer.
