On April 17th, hundreds of alumni returned to Tisch to celebrate Alumni Weekend 2004. Some visited with their departments while others floor-hopped through the building. A great time was had by all…as you can see from the pictures!
Ismail Merchant (NYU MBA ’60), President of Merchant Ivory Productions presented a lecture co-produced by NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Cinema Studies presented a day of screenings entitled Those Who Can’t made up of creative works by departmental students, faculty and staff. A reception followed.
Dance welcomed visiting alumni for a screening of And They Flew a film abut the Tisch Dance Department made in 2002 by two former MFA students, Khalda Logan and Lorelei Bayne.
Grad Design had their annual arts and crafts party for alumni and their families.
Undergrad Drama hosted a reception for visiting Drama alumni.
Film & TV screened several short films/videos produced by alumni Martin Brest, BFA '73, Jessica Sharzer, MFA '02, Tatia Rosenthal, BFA '98 and Spike Lee, MFA '79
Grad Acting gave a free performance of Love’s Labour’s Lost.
Grad Musical Theatre Writing Program hosted Family Day and everyone brought their pets!
ITP previewed their Spring Show and had a surprise party for George Agudow.
Performance Studies honored Brooks McNamara, professor emeritus, by creating the Brooks McNamara Popular Entertainment Dissertation Fellowship.
Photography & Imaging had a cocktail party...and not a one of them brought their cameras!
